The prophet (PBUH) used to supplicate: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from four things: KNOWLEDGE WHICH DOES NOT PROFIT, a heart which is not submissive, a soul which has an insatiable appetite, and a supplication which is not heard." ~ (Sunan of Abu-Dawood hadith 1543)
There is Hadith wherein the Prophet Muhammed (scw) says: 'Seek knowledge unto China'. Thankfully, with the abudance of knowledge easily accesible through the internet and thousands of books in libraries and Masjids --- there is no excuse for not knowing more about my deen and my role as a Muslim.
This is my journey --- a hard and difficult one. Inshallah, you (the reader) gains as much as I do.
